How to Lose 10 lbs in a Week

I need your help. I read this ad that said this certain diet pill would help me lose 10 lbs per week. If this is true, what is in this pill that is so effective. To be honest, I’m very skeptical of claims made my diet pills because in the past, they have never worked for me.

Dear Abigail,

You are right to be skeptical. There is no miracle pill that will make you lose any weight. The best way to lose weight is through diet and exercise. Diet being 80% of the weight loss equation. Don’t fall for the fancy label or marketing ad, if there was a dieting ingredient that would help you lose 10 lbs in a week, it would sell for thousands of dollars and be all over the media.

Save your money and motivate yourself to stick to a good diet that will make you pounds. Commit to walking 25 minutes a day, 5 times per week and reduce your total calories by 30%.  To keep track of your total calorie intake, plan each meal for the day by writing it down along with estimated calories.
